About GSB
The Genome and Systems Biology (GSB) Degree Program, which is the first launched integrative Systems Biology Degree Program in Taiwan, has congregated the outstanding faculty and experts from NTU, as well as from various institutes in Academia Sinica. For now, we have 83 faculties and over 50 students.
About retreat
A retreat meeting could help us to know each other better. We could share our recently work and experiences in study, research and life with each other. Further more, through this meeting we could also find opportunities to collaborate with people in this program.
For students, this is also an opportunity to find a rotation lab or an adviser.. The GSB Degree program, started the preparatory status in 2008, has approved by Ministry of Education, the R.O.C. and officially launched in 2010 for its PhD training program.

Shandori Hotel (山多利大飯店)
Shandori Hotel features a vast oriental style garden as the entrance and large high-ceiling French windows in which the lighting philosophy of Ando Style is introduced to incorporate with natural textures.
The thick woods are used to outline the space through the light, materials and brightness without extra decorations while interior is breaking through and integrated with exterior to create a natural, pure and peaceful living environment.
The Shandori Hotel that highlights the idea of “people, building and environment” was thus born.

By Car
From North － Drive along National Highway No.5, through the Hsueh Shan Tunnel and exit at “Toucheng Interchange”. Turn left towards Jiaoxi and pass through Section 1 of Qingyun Road, Jiaoxi Road, and Zhongshan Road. Turn left onto Xingnong Road. Drive for 1.2km, and Shandori Hotel is on your left.
From South － Northbound-drive northward from Yilan Interchange along the bridge and go straight to the Hotel.

南下－行駛國道5號經雪山隧道至【礁溪191匝道】下，直行約1km即可看到飯店在您的右側位置。
北上－從宜蘭交流道匝道延橋下北上可直達飯店。
◎ 飯店備有大型戶外停車場供貴賓使用。

By Coach － Take the Kamalan Bus or Capital Bus to Jiaoxi Station. We offer a shuttle bus between Jiaoxi Station and Shandori Hotel.
By Train － Take the train to Jiaoxi Station.
